Kindergarten Orientation

Today was a big day, Maddy had her kindergarten orientation. Ms. Esposito is her teacher this year, and she started the day with a story about coming to kindergarten.

After that, we did a scavenger hunt all over the classroom so Maddy could get to know the new room. She was particularly impressed with the teeny tiny sink in the bathroom.

After that, she had to draw a picture of herself.

And I had to write a couple of sentences about Maddy.

And finally, she got to make a disgusting snack (graham cracker + frosting + mini Oreos) with her friend from preschool, Kaitlyn. Maddy bragged about this wonderful concoction as soon as she got home to Audrey!

I think it's going to be great year. The first day of school is Monday, but I'm sure I am more nervous than Maddy is!
