Walden Pond

Some friends invited us out to Walden Pond out in Concord today. We'd been there before to walk around the pond, but never to swim. As it turns out, it's a great place for little kids to swim! They have a nice area roped off, that's three feet deep (which Maddy immediately wanted to forgo for the deeper water!) and without the surf, the beach isn't scary at all to Audrey. In fact, she like to walk right out until the water was up to her chest, oblivious that she was giving me a heart attack!

Maddy had a great time swimming, she only left the water long enough to build a sand castle with her friend Amaia.

It could have been a tiny bit warmer, but other than that it was a great day!
