Plymouth / Zoo

We had a very nice weekend, though it felt more like spring, than summer. On Saturday, Bob was craving a lobster roll so we drove down to Plymouth for the day.

Side note: I never forget to remind Bob about the time he took me to the Lobster Hut on one of our first dates and tried to convince me to order chicken, rather than seafood, due to my land-locked upbringing. Supposedly, he was not being cheap, he was just concerned I might have an allergy...likely story, I say!

Anyhow, lunch was very nice, and we climbed out on the jetty for a bit too...until Audrey got to hard to handle!

Ice cream is mandatory, as usual.

On Sunday, we met some friends at the zoo. Again, it was kind of a gloomy day, but actually a great day to be at the zoo. Audrey loved showing off her vocabulary.

"Zebra!"

"Peacock!"

Maddy loved playing on the new playground. It was made up of a huge obstacle course...

...that ended in a very long slide. Maddy couldn't have been happier!

We finished up the day with a train ride around the zoo.

It was such a nice weekend!
