Fifteen Months Old!

Happy Fifteen Month Birthday, Audrey!

A lot has changed in the last three months. As of about a month ago you started walking and you haven't stopped since!

In fact, at this point I would call you terrifying. There is nothing that you won't climb. You are so strong, and coordinated....and not afraid of anything!

You still adore your sister. And as you get older you seem more and more interested in doing what she does.

All the sudden you are REALLY interested in books, probably because you see Maddy flipping through them all the time. When I let you, you trot into your room and bring book after book for me to read to you. And maybe it's because of all the reading, but your language is exploding. You are pretty good at asking for want you want, whether it be a "bookie" (book), "belk" (milk), "warry" (water) or a "huggie" (which is a hug, not a diaper). I love hearing your voice and am so thrilled that you can communicate with us.

One word that we hear a lot of is "goggy". You love dogs. And you go nuts when you see one, especially if you can pet it.

You are a much more active participant in our adventures now, and have little use for your stroller. "Down" is a word I hear all the time. You want to be down in the grass, picking up dirt, climbing on rocks.

Audrey, you are a joy to have in our lives! You keep us on our toes but we love you to pieces!
