Sunday Drive

Grandma has been around all week helping us out during all the birthday craziness. So on Sunday, we wanted to give her break from doing our laundry, cooking our meals and dressing the kids in coordinating UK apparel...

...so we stuck her in the backseat between the two kids on one of Bob's "mystery rides" to the Cape. We know how to treat her right!

After lunch along the way, we stopped at Coast Guard Beach in Eastham. It was a beautiful day, just a little cold.

Maddy was so exited to be back on the sand. I don't think she even noticed the cold.

We walked along the trails for a while, before heading on to Truro, where we got to see some whales migrating from our vantage on the sand dunes. It was a great day (if I block out the memory of the last 45 minutes of the drive home!)

Audrey says, "I can't wait to go to the beach this summer!"
