First Beach Day

For part two of our holiday weekend we went to Crane's Beach for our first beach day of the year. (Part three so far has involved Bob picking out an uncensored, un-age appropriate movie (aka Iron Giant) for Maddy to watch which led to some tears and confusion...but I digress.)

Anyhow...we had a great time at Crane's Beach. Despite the brisk water temperature (57 degrees!) Maddy loved running into the waves. She gets braver every year!


Audrey's first beach day was a huge success. She had a "first" that I really appreciated....her first beach nap! I think she enjoyed sleeping in the salty air and woke up as happy as ever.


Bob and Maddy also go to work on their sand castle building skills.


We had a great day, hopefully the first of many this summer.
