I figured that this month would be all about your spica cast and how tough that is on us. But I was totally wrong. The most memorable part about this month was your smile. It's so easy to make you smile! All we have to do is lean in really close to your face and say something really clever and witty like, "Hi!" and you burst into the most amazing toothless grin. And if one is willing to sing "Take Me Home Country Road" a cappella, you not only smile, but you sing along too!
In other exciting news, in honor of your birth this year (and also to show their appreciation for Maddy the Superfan), the Wildcats made it into the Final Four this month. Though we were all disappointed when they got beat by UConn, you were an awesome cheerleader.
I'm not going to mention how you sleep at night, but just know that we know how awesome you are. And if you could give Maddy some tips we would appreciate it.
Speaking of Maddy, she's still getting used to the notion that when a camera comes out, she's not necessarily the center of attention. Still, she loves you very much and loves to be helpful. Whenever you cry, she rushes to give you a kiss to make you feel better.
Look how cute you look in monkeys! You have boxes and boxes of hand-me-downs, but somehow you've still managed to acquire your own wardrobe.
It's so much fun to watch your personality emerging and we love watching you create your own place in our family.
