Rachel's Visit

This week my college roommate Rachel came to visit from Austin, Texas. It was so awesome that she could meet Audrey, and I had a great time catching up amid all the chaos around here. This week was also Audrey's first cast change so Rachel came along to keep me company and enjoy some fine dining at Mass General Hospital.

After our long day at the hospital, we hung around the house quite a bit (just like college just with no Mountain Dew and less sleeping!)


Unfortunately, Maddy wasn't convinced that Rachel was here to see me and not her, and managed to talk her into building three different dinosaurs out of her tubes BEFORE BREAKFAST. Rachel's stegosaurus was very impressive!

We did manage to get out of the house a few times during her visit. Thursday evening we took advantage of free admission to the ICA and (once again) made all the security staff nervous. This time, Maddy decided to try and pass for art. I think this one is called Untitled in Stripes.





On Friday, we went to the JFK Library and Museum. After attempting a picnic the day before in the cold and the wind, it was nice to enjoy the view of the harbor from behind glass!






Maddy and Audrey say, "Hurry back Rachel! We wish Texas wasn't so far away."
