Visit With Grandma

Grandma Johnson came to visit for the weekend and we had a really nice time. After all the non-drama of Hurricane Earl, we had a beautiful weekend. On Saturday, we decided to go out to the DeCordova Sculpture Park. We always have a great time out there and it's great because Maddy can touch all the sculptures.


And pretty much every stick and acorn as well.



Some sculptures are even big enough to walk through.






The Musical Fence is always a big hit.



After lunch (and a nap), we drug Grandma out on a bike ride around Deer Island.


On Sunday, we rode the subway to Boston and spent some time on the Common and took the mandatory carousel ride. Maddy took some time out from her ride to explain to Grandma how to use the digital camera.



And we had a nice picnic in the grass.




We had a great weekend!
