Apple Picking

We made our annual trip up to Cider Hill Farm this weekend to pick some apples, pumpkins and cider donuts.

First we had some lunch with the Finleys. I know I'm biased, but I don't think there could be three cuter girls. Love those curls.

After lunch, we went out to the orchard. Unfortunately, we were all fooled by the warm morning and didn't really dress for the 55 degree drizzle so we did our picking really fast! That was okay for Maddy, she loves an excuse to run.

Maddy and Bob made a great team, with his height and her discerning apple-picking-eye.

It's obvious that Maddy was very dedicated to quality control.

While I spent three lifetimes waiting in line for cider donuts (totally worth it though!), Bob and Maddy took a hayride, spent some time on the swing....

....and in the corn maze.

We came home with a bunch of apples, and have an (half-eaten) apple pie to show for it.
