On Saturday, we went down to visit Grammy and Grandpa. Maddy had a blast playing in the swimming pool.
She swam some laps.
And made a new friend.
But mostly, she just terrorized all the people within a thirty foot radius of the pool.
After drying off a bit, she hung out with dad in the hammock. It was so relaxing, I think they are scheming to find a way to hang one at our house now!
On Sunday, we took Maddy to see Toy Story 3. I was a little nervous after the failed attempt to see an IMAX movie a month ago but Maddy made us proud. She sat through the whole movie, laughed at all the right places and ate her share of the garbage-bag-sized bag of popcorn we had. Though on the way out, she did say, "I think I ate too much popcorn." (As if there is such a thing as too much movie popcorn!) It was a great afternoon.
Maddy says, "Happy Father's Day!"

Happy Father's Day to Maddy's Dad! Looks like a great weekend for sure - Maddy is looking very grown up and tall. It's amazing how quickly they lose that "baby" look.
