Bob, Maddy and I showed up early to eat some bagels in the park and enjoy the weather.
There's always something interesting going on in Boston Common, like this colonial Bostonian using his iPhone.
After breakfast, we headed over to the walk site and met up with friends from last year and made some new ones.

After the walk, we all had lunch together. Maddy had "see-food", much to Bob's chagrin.
We met a clown, though I'm pretty sure Maddy wanted to have nothing to do with him. Clowns are creepy, they just can't help it!
After lunch, we went over to the other side of the Frog Pond to let Maddy take a ride on the carousel. By this point though, I think she was pretty spent.
And to top it off, Maddy picked Super Saver to win the Derby! It was probably too much excitement for one day, but a great day none the less!

Sounds and looks like a great day, having fun and spreading awareness. I love the picture of the guy and his iPhone!
I couldn't agree with you more about the clowns. I've never had a bad experience with one, but I find them creepy nonetheless.
