Maddy's Early Intervention Program had a Holiday Party today and Maddy had a chance to visit with Santa Claus. She was a little skeptical about sitting on his lap but I think the desire to have her Christmas wish heard (for a kitchen to make pies in) outweighed her fear of the old guy in the red suit. (I think he does look a little dour for a jolly old elf.)



Maddy is so excited about Christmas this year and we're having so much fun. Our rental car has been dubbed "The Christmas Car" since all she's wants to hear in the car is Christmas music. "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" and "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" are the two top favorites. The number three favorite song is "Feliz Navidad" though I'm pretty sure Maddy thinks the lyrics are saying "Feed Maddy a Sock." It's been a great Christmas Season so far!
