Playing in the Fountain

After the walk-a-thon yesterday, we spent some time walking around downtown Boston and ended up at the Christian Science Center. The fountain was already going for the season, and even though it wasn't quite warm enough, Maddy couldn't resist playing in the water.



This year, it's clear that she's going to be very brave when it comes to spouting water. Probably, too brave!



Here, Maddy is demonstrating Grandma Johnson's very important rule. Take care to never, ever, ever get your hair wet in public.



Whoops! She broke the rule!


(and Maddy's hair DID get rather frizzy...but I think she thought it was worth the frizz to play in the fountain!)
