Saturday at the Sculpture Park

We had another taste of spring this weekend so we decided to go check out the DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park. It was a great place to spend the afternoon and will be even more fun once the ground isn't a snowy/ soggy mess. As it was, only one pair of jeans was harmed during our visit!

You were allowed to touch almost all the sculptures and some were even interactive. Maddy enjoyed composing a tune on this one.

One of Maddy's favorite new words is "heart" so she was very excited to see a giant one. Up close the texture was both really interesting and slightly creepy.

We had a chance to give Maddy a lesson in scale. As in, this head is not to scale!

You could even walk into some of the sculptures. This one created awesome echoes.

Maddy thought some of the pieces were perplexing.

After walking all over the grounds we finally made it into the museum where Maddy really enjoyed the video installations.

We'll definitely be going back when the ground is a little less muddy!
