Girl's Day at the Museum

Since Bob was busy this morning Maddy and I decided to head to the ICA for family day. Our friend Nicole joined us to check out the Shepard Fairey exhibit.

Unfortunately, I feel like I still need to go back to see the exhibit because we spend the whole time, ahem, chasing someone through the museum.

Minimum speed was literally a brisk trot and thank goodness for hoodie sweaters, though my plead to " just look with your eyes" was mostly heeded. No art was harmed and we also got to meet a children's book author.

Maddy did pause briefly for some video installations. And by "pause", I mean whipping around a single space, rather than running from space to space.

Afterwards, we had a snack outside on the steps.....

...and took a lap around the outside of the building before heading home.

Great pictures! Bennett is pretty much the same way when we bring him some place like that - he just goes, goes, goes! I love watching him walk but I look forward to the day when he'll stop long enough to take a closer look at things!
