Trumpets and Art

On Saturday afternoon Maddy had her Solo and Ensemble Festival. She did a great job playing Amazing Grace for her solo! And after that, Maddy performed Furioso with the "5th Grade Sextet. They sounds great and Maddy seems to really enjoy playing in the ensemble. (She TOLERATED the solo....she was not a fan though...)



Then on Sunday we tried out the new Nepalese restaurant.



It was SO good. Even picky pants junior AND picky pants senior enjoyed it!



After lunch, we drove up to Salem to catch the very last day of the Georgia O'Keefe exhibit.



(This one is my favorite.)



After Georgia O'Keefe we had time for a few other exhibits. The Peabody Essex had some awesome interactive ones...





...but without a doubt, the best one was a room filled with pink balloons!





(The silly spinning furry one was pretty interesting too!)



It was such a fun day!
