First up was Swampscott.
Sadly, the Vikings lost 8-12 (not a big offensive game for either team...)
But, since the tournament was double elimination they had another chance! So on Sunday we drove back up to St. John's Prep School in Danvers. It's a beautiful campus...Audrey mentioned that she COULD go to school there, probably for the awesome yoga room... thank goodness it's an all-boy school because there's no way we could afford THAT!
Sunday's opponent was Hamilton-Wenham. And even though Winthrop had beat them twice before, the game was really close! It come down to a single free throw! (Luckily, Maddy's teammate Lily has ice water in her veins! 😉)

They ended up winning by ONE point!
Then we had to kill time for a few hours before playing again.
This time, they played Marblehead....
...and they won again!
Way to go girls! They live to play another weekend!
