Rainy Mother's Day Weekend

The weather was not very cooperative this year, for doing any sort of outdoor event for Mother's Day. We were scheduled to get a Nor'easter on Sunday. Boo. So we made the best of it by celebrating on Saturday with a quick trip to the MFA (for Maddy and I anyway, Bob and Audrey got to spend the whole afternoon there) to see the Matisse exhibit.



And afterward, my choice, obviously ;),  dinner in Chinatown where my children made me proud by going way outside their comfort zone and trying something new. We also go to park in the most dangerous, confusing parking garage we've ever seen! Clearly, this experience required a family selfie.



And on Sunday, we mostly just hunkered down only going out once for fancy coffee drinks (read: hot chocolate).
