Bob's Birthday Weekend

You would think that having a birthday in April would guarantee no snow, but sadly that was not the case for Bob this year. On Friday night and into Saturday we had a Nor'easter.



But luckily by Sunday, we had a gorgeous day to go to Plymouth and celebrate Bob's birthday with a lobster roll.



(Apparently, Lobster Hut makes a pretty good grilled cheese, according to both kids!)

After our lunch we took a walk on the jetty.









And then we took a walk to the sadly unimpressive Plymouth Rock (though we did see some impressive lobster art!)



It was a nice day (made even nicer by some fudge, enjoyed from a bench with a nice view!)



We got home with just enough time to let Bob blow out his candles on his beloved ice cream cake and to watch an X-files.



It was a perfect day!
