Beautiful Weekend

We just had a nice stretch of summer-like weather so we got the weekend started early on Friday with a trip to the park and some lemon slush.



On Saturday Maddy's Girl Scout troop helped out at the the Arbor Day cleanup at the Deane Winthrop House and we tagged along and pitched in. (Poor Bob got roped into digging a trench and laying a brick border for way too long!)

After the clean-up we took advantage of the crafting activities.





And because we still weren't ready to go inside yet we bought our flowers (at a beautiful local greenhouse we just discovered!) and planted our flower boxes.



It was a great day! Our porch is ready for summer!
