On Tuesday we went bowling with the DiBiases.
One our way home from bowling, we had to drop off our "friends" for the Stuffed Animal Sleepover at the library. From the photos that the library posted, Kermit and Coco raised a little hell that night!
On Wednesday, Audrey had her friend Hazel over for a dance party.
And then we went to see the magician Scott Jameson in a show at the senior center. Audrey can now add "Magician's Assistant" to her resume.
Thursday, I promised the kids that they could gorge themselves on playing the Wii...and they totally did!
Friday, we went to the MFA with Lorelei and Tarquin.
This time, no one touched the Chihuly, thank goodness! (My heart can't handle another fright like our last visit!)
The museum had tons of fun activities but we actually only managed to do two (in addition to seeing the amazing demonstration of Indian dancing.) The kids did some landscape drawing with oil pastels.
And some printmaking inspired by Picasso's Bull series where he showed the evolution of an abstraction of a bull. I thought Maddy did an awesome job on hers!
There was so much to do, we actually didn't have enough time for Audrey to sketch (according to her, anyway!), but we made a little time for her to draw in the Make Way for Ducklings exhibit.
It was a very successful well, pretty relaxing but not too boring!
