She worked really hard on her song, (Fais Do Do) but there were definitely a few nerves while we watched the other kids perform. Especially since the first kid we saw (unbeknownst to us) also plays for the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra. (I have to admit, for a few minutes I was wondering what the hell I'd gotten Maddy into!)
She did awesome thought, we are so proud of her. All I wanted was for her to have a good first-time experience and she hit it out of the park!

And then after a celebratory chicken wrap, Audrey and I decided to go browse the town-wide art show. I'd been told, that because of space limitation each kindergarten class had a project displayed. Audrey's class did this Elmer Elephant.
But then Audrey's art eacher pointed out a piece of Audrey's work that she hung because it was exceedingly awesome. (I'm paraphrasing, but you get the gist).
I'm so excited to see her love of art!
We had so much to be proud of this weekend!
